My Name is Lukas, I am in my mid 20s and like to write about things to better understand them.

After finishing high school in 2016 I wanted to study maths and physics but instead joined Bitmovin as software engineer. After some time working on many different parts of the software stack I was given the opportunity to build Bitmovin’s frontend team in Vienna late 2017. It was a cross-functional team of frontend/fullstack engineers and a designer. Early 2020 I took over the engineering department for our Player product as their director.

In my free time I like to read, run, bike, eat good food and enjoy cultural events. I listen to indie music.

I learned a lot and want to share some things I’ve seen along the way.
